A spectacular place to visit for nature lovers and photographers, The Winton Wetlands are situated in Winton North, just over two hours north east of Melbourne. The nearest towns are Glenrowan, Benalla and Wangaratta.
Glenrowan is rich in bushranger history, as the site of Ned Kelly’s last stand, and also home to some fantastic wineries. Wangaratta offers city-quality restaurants, cafes and shopping, whilst Benalla has a fabulous art gallery.
